Air-Care Electrostatic
Air Filters clean the air by using static
electricity, a safe, naturally occurring
phenomenon. An electrostatic charge is
generated by air flowing through a maze of
static prone fibers. Airborne particles are
attracted and held by the static charge
until released by washing. All Air-Care
Electrostatic Filters contain an EPA
registered anti-microbial material to
inhibit the mold and bacteria growth on the
filter surface.
The ELECTRA SILVER 8200 is
designed to meet the special needs
of some furnaces and air
conditioners that require a very low
resistance due to a limited return
configuration. The 0.08 inch W.G.
initial resistance of the Electra
Silver 8200 will assure sufficient
air flow to minimize concerns about
freezing coils or overheating heat
exchangers. The woven polypropylene
layer with integral anti-microbial
material provides 8 times more
filtration than a disposable filter.
The non woven polyester pre-filter
will maintain high arrestance even
when soiled.
The ELECTRA SILVER 9400 is
designed to provide the highest
arrestance available for the
majority of furnaces and air
Conditioners. The 0.12 inch W.G.
initial resistance of the Electra
Silver 9400 will perform best in
systems configured with 1 square
foot, or more, of filter area for
each ton of air conditioning. Two
layers of woven monofilament
polypropylene with integral
anti-microbial material provide 10
times more filtration than a
disposable fiberglass filter. The
deep loading center layer of
non-woven polyester allows the
Electra Silver 9400 to prolong the
time between washings.
The ELECTRA GOLD provides
over 94% Arrestance in a premium
quality Extruded Aluminum, Gold
Anodized frame with a durable and
attractive finish. At the heart of
this filter are three layers of high
arrestance material sandwiched
between 2 layers of expanded steel.
A special Impregnated black
Polypropylene has an EPA registered
anti-microbial material to inhibit
mold and bacteria growth while the
center non-woven layer retains
debris in a maze of fibers designed
to maximize air flow even when
soiled. Rated by independent testing
laboratory at over 94% peak
arrestance, this filter has 10 times
the arrestance of a disposable
fiberglass filter.

Removes Lung Damaging
Dust
Safe and effective in
helping to eliminate
airborne allergens,
bacteria, viruses, mold,
fungi, and more.
Open the package
containing the swabs and
remove one swab, holding
it by the wooden end.
Locate an area with
obvious mold growth.
(Molds of concern
typically appear as
circular black, green,
yellow, brown or white
"mats" with black, green
or brown spores covering
the mat). Use the swab
to collect the mold.
Collect at least a
thumbtack size amount of
mold for the test. Don't
cover the entire swab
(that's too much), and
make sure you've got
more than a pin-head
amount (that's too
little).
Step
3: Start the test
Carefully twirl the swab
head containing the mold
sample in the solution.
The solution should
become cloudy or
grayish-black.
Step
4: Place the Test Strip
in the Cup
Mold Test Kit
contains two tests, use
only one test strip per
sample. Place the test
strip in the sample cup
with the arrows pointing
down. The end with the
arrows should be in the
liquid.
Wait 5 minutes. Remove
the strip from the cup
and read (interpret) the
test.
Positive = 2 Lines on
the strip
Negative = 1 Line Pink test line and
pink control line is a
positive result for
Stachybotrys chartarum.
Grey, brown or black
test line and a pink
control line is a
positive result for
Aspergillus niger.
Negative = 1 Line
No line in the test line
area and a pink control
line is a negative
result. This means that
there was no detectable
Stachybotrys
chartarum or
Aspergillus niger
molds in the sample
taken. You may have them
in lower concentrations
or in other locations.
You also may have other
molds present.
AIR DUCT CLEANING
Unfortunately, almost all houses are closed
most of the time because of the hot weather.
So, if your air conditioning system is
dirty, the dust and all the contaminants in
it keep circulating inside the house.
CARPET CLEANING
Ask your carpet care specialist for
guarantee details. Energy savings may vary
depending upon the size of your home and the
condition of your heating/cooling system.
Valid on residential orders and single furnace
homes only.
